AVOID GMOs IN YOUR FOOD

Foods containing genetically modified organisms have been linked to toxicity and intestinal inflammation but have not been studied for long-term effects. Eighty-five percent of the corn produced in the USA has GMOs. Unfortunately, Californians voted NO on Prop 37, which would have required food manufacturers to label foods containing GMOs. The products most likely to contain GMOs include food items made from corn and soy; however, corn and soy are highly prevalent in most packaged foods.

YOU have to do your research before going to the grocery store. Look for products that are 100% certified organic...Whole Food Grocery Store is a good place to shop with confidence. When choosing a caterer, choose one like Dine With 9 Catering.

FOODS MOST LIKELY TO CONTAIN GMOs:

1. Veggie Burgers (often contain soy & corn)
2. Burritos (Tortillas made from corn & use less expensive corn fed meats)
